We can't even begin to imagine how sensitive a dogs sense of smell is.  A dogs ability to scent things is exponentially greater than our own.  In general people fail to tap the enormous potential of their dogs' nose!  Nose work is calm and relaxing for a dog and 20 minutes tracking can be the equivalent to a 4 hour walk!
